2004 Auto-trail Cheiftan....UK built.  We wont bore you with any other details.  wher'dmadaygo didn't spend much time in Europe before coming on this trip with us and most certainly didn't 'free bag'.  Auto-trail owners are normally a very conservative bunch who generally only use campsites with a quick dash on motorways to get to and fro.

we're ALWAYS asked...why the car and the van?
Convenience & safety.
Having a car means we can camp for longer periods of time without having to move every day or 2 for water, sight seeing, food etc. etc.
Rose doesn't have a bike licence so couldn't use the motorbike on her own which meant relying on Paul to take her anywhere.....this totally sucked when your 'little miss independent'.
Plus it also means WE DONT TOW....YAY!!!.
We only drive up to 3 hrs max a day when changing locations/moving, so for us convenience far out weights the inconvenience.....and....its safer.


bossy Tom - ONBOARD ENTERTAINMENT
....the brains of the crew.  Look out for "bossy Tom" he makes a cameo appearance in our pictures from time to time.  He doesn't seem to mind when we yell abuse at him, however we are starting to think he gets back at us by giving dodgy instructions & routes.
